An antique carved oak bureau
the top with a floral carved shaped gallery, above a fall front with incised floral foliate lozenge decoration and mahogany crossbanding, opening to reveal a fitted interior with two drawers each side flanking three central drawers with pigeon holes above, the base with panelled sides and single shallow drawer above two short and three long graduated drawers carved with square foliate panels, with the original brass handles and pierced escutcheons, standing on carved bracket feet, 38in. (96.5cm.) wide x 44.5in. (113cm.) high.
