After the consignment of your item, you will be issued with a receipt for your items and a consignment agreement which you must sign. After informing you of which sale your property is suited for our experts will establish an agreed reserve with you, and inform you of the estimate on your item.
We will store your items free of charge whilst they are awaiting sale up to two months prior to a sale, goods are covered under our insurance – please check our terms and conditions for details.
We can arrange for the collection of your items prior to / post consignment.
4. Post Sale
After the auction, you will be informed as to what the final bid price of your property was, along with a settlement statement detailing commission and other charges.
If a buyer was not found and your property did not sell, please speak with your Martel Maides Auctions contact to discuss either re-offering or collecting your property.
Valuations for Auction: Free of charge.
Written valuations for any other purpose: Fee by agreement in advance.

You will receive payment from Fine Art and Specialist sales within 1 calendar month, and from Vintage and Collectors Sales normally within 2 weeks.
