A George I inlaid walnut chest of drawers
originally the top of a chest of chest, the quarter veneered top with oyster veneer central oval and feather-banded & rosewood cross-banded border, the sides quarter veneered with feather-banding and walnut cross-banding, with three short over three long graduated drawers with matching decoration, the original brass handles with shaped backplates and iron locks, standing on bracket feet, 39.5in. (100cm.) wide x 39in. (99cm.) high.
