A Victorian slate and marble mantel clock
of architectural form, the 4 inch white enamel dial with Roman numerals and bevelled glass window, flanked by marble half-columns, the base with silver presentation inscription in French, dated August 1881, the 8 day movement striking on a gong, 14in (36cm) high, 11in (28cm) wide.
