18th / early 19th century, painted with an elaborate jardiniere of flowers, within a diaper and floral border and floral band to the rim, 9in. (22.8cm.) diameter; together with a set of three export plates, painted with peonies and rockwork beneath the branches of a fir tree, within a floral and diaper border and diaper rim with four ruyi shaped cellwork reserves, 9 1/8in. (23.2cm.) diameter; a set of three shallow soup plates, painted with bamboo and flowers issuing from rockwork, 9in. (22.8cm.) diameter; and two others. (10)

  • Condition: - Saucer dishes: One with two hairlines and a small firing crack to rim. The other with glaze frits and small glaze chips all around the rim.
    - Set of three plates: All have a number of small chips, plus some glaze frits to the rim.One has two larger chips and a hairline to the rim.
    - Set of three soup plates: All have two or three small rim chips, plus other small glaze frits to rim.
    - Fenced garden soup plate: Two small chips and a number of glaze frits to rim.
    - Peony & rockwork soup plate: Small chip beneath rim and smaller glaze chips & frits all round the rim.

Although there are no major restrictions concerning the exportation of any works of art or antiquities being offered in this Guernsey auction, buyers are obviously responsible for the proper importation of their purchases into their country of destination.
