An early 19th century mahogany longcase clock
the arched painted dial signed 'Jn James Egham', with painted Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dial, painted gold shells to spandrels, Strike/Silent to arch, eight day movement striking on a bell, the case with brass eagle and ball finials to the arched pediment, above an arched glazed door flanked by fluted columns, the trunk with an arched door, on a stepped plinth, 89.25in. (227cm.) high.
