Alcock Guernsey', with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds & date dials, floral painted spandrels and moon phase roller above painted with scenes of a rural landscape with bridge and a three masted galleon, the 8 day movement striking on a bell, the case with broken arch pediment with brass floral mounts and satinwood & rosewood banding, above an arched glazed door with boxwood stringing linked by tapering satinwood strung pillars, the trunk with canted corners inlaid with satinwood & rosewood and an arched door with a boxwood inlaid Gothic arch, on a figured, inlaid & crossbanded mahogany base, lacks plinth, 81.75in. (207.5cm.) high.
