A George V Scottish 19th Light Dragoons Officer's broadsword
with pierced skull-cap pommel, wire-bound shagreen grip, buckskin backed and red cloth liner, crimson tassels, the pierced steel basket hilt with heart-shaped decoration, the 31in (79cm) engraved steel blade with crown above Royal monogram, and elephant below the word Assaye, thistle, bugle and crown, the blade also double fullered and engraved Morris Angel & Sons Ltd. 117 Shaftsbury Avenue, London WC, the steel scabbard with two suspension rings, total length 39in (99cm).
