A George III Infantry Officer's dress sword
with cast brass urn pommel, wire bound grip, brass knuklebow and cast plume quillon, oval cast brass guards (one hinged), the 32in (81cm) finely etched fullered single edge steel blade with Royal cypher, coat of arms, gilding and traces of blueing, engraved 'Osborns Warrented', the leather scabbard with three brass mounts and two suspension rings, total length 39.5in (100.5cm).
