A Black Forest carved Boar's Head hill walker's stick
early 20th century, in carved and naturalistically painted wood, the grip carved as a substantial boar's head with open mouth, above a rustic shaft with a number of unusual natural growths along its length, terminating in an iron ferrule with spike, 38in. (96.5cm.) long.
