- Notes: * Thomas Compton taught at the RMA, Woolwich and was appointed Art Master of Elizabeth College in 1826. This 19th century pencil drawing bears a very close resemblance to a print published by M.Moss in the early part of the 19th century. The property Rozel in Mount Durand, Guernsey was built by Thomas Carey (1780-1853). After his death it passed to his son Albert who in turn sold the house to his cousin Thomas Godfrey in 1874. The house later passed to his son Lionel Slade.
