the rectangular top with rounded corners and ribbed edge, opening to reveal a well fitted interior with various open & lidded compartments, including a swivelling lid of ogee form with pincushion, inset marbled paper panel to lid, the sides of ogee form in well figured mahogany with ribbed beading to lower edge, work drawer beneath (replaced), on bobbin turned uprights and shaped arched supports with bobbin turned stretcher, 28.75in. (73cm.) high x 20.25in. (51.5cm.) wide.
