A Victorian silver mounted glass novelty liqueur jug
London 1881, maker probably Alexander Crichton, in the form of a cockatoo, the blown glass body with applied scroll wing and scroll handle, resting on two realistically modelled silver legs, the hinged silver head chased in detail with feathers and set with red & black glass eyes, the crest forming the thumbpiece, marked on head, collar & feet, 5.5in (14cm) high.
