London, 1876, maker Thomas Johnson, with retailer's stamp for Thornhill, 144 Bond St., the four section beaker of circular form with a gilt interior, the hinged lid with engraved intertwined initials and hinged clasp to side, weight 7.4oz., 3in. (7.5cm.) diameter, 3.75in. (9cm.) high when open.
