with stepped brass pommel, cast brass backpiece, wire bound shagreen grip, pierced brass guard with VR monogram, the engraved 33in (84cm) fullered steel blade with Royal cyphers to both sides and monogram AAG, by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, numbered 21024, blade slightly curved toward point, the flat edge engraved with an arrow and CP, the steel scabbard with brass mouthpiece and two suspension rings, total length 39in (99cm).
