19th century, the clock group with figure of a seafarer at the helm, the clock with 3.5in enamel dial and Arabic numerals, set on a circular ebonised base inscribed Rescue, 29in (74cm) high, flanked by two figures of a man throwing a life-buoy and a lady waving a scarf, each 23in (58.5cm) high (3).
