A silver desk inkwell
Chester 1914, makers mark indistinct, of octagonal form, the hinged lid with shell thumb-piece and interior gilding, enclosing an octagonal cut glass well, the exterior finely chased and engraved, the base marked Pearce & Sons Ltd., Silversmiths, Leeds & York, 4.5in (11.5cm) wide.
