early 19th century, with satinwood and ebony line inlay to outer edge, the top with turned brass urn finial and twin swan-neck pediment above a circular dry & damp gauge, arched and silvered mercury thermometer, convex mirror with reeded ebony surround, a silvered 8 inch (20cm) dial with sun-burst centre and brass cased convex glass, turned bone adjuster and a circular brass cased and silvered spirit level inscribed J. Della Forre, Perth, hinged door verso, 38.5in (98cm) long.
