A Regency giltwood and gesso overmantel mirror
the moulded breakfront cornice with applied spheres above a moulded classical frieze depicting a Roman Centurion in a chariot being drawn by six lions, with soldiers, three female figures and two trumpeting angels, above a triple bevelled plate flanked by reeded half columns with Corinthian capitals, 56in (142cm) 35.5in (90cm) high.
