A Queen Anne style japanned chest on stand
mid-20th century, with black Chinoisserie decoration, the broken arched pediment with pierced brackets to a central shell cartouche, above a blind fret frieze over five short and three long graduated drawers, the base with blind fret frieze and one long over three short drawers, the central drawer with shell and foliate carving, above a shell and foliate carved apron, on carved cabriole supports with ball and claw feet, 87.5in (222cm) high x 40.25in (102cm) wide.
