A pair of Minton Parian ware figures
mid. 19th century, depicting Dorethea in peasant attire seated on a rock with shoes and a knapsack at her feet, with applied diamond registration lozenge and John Bell pad mark, the base impressed Minton, 13in (33cm) high and Clorinda dressed as a warrior with impressed marks and the date 1848 to back of figure, 14in (36cm) high.

  • Notes: * The subjects are from the Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra''s novel Don Quixote of Mancha written in 1605.
