19th century, formed as a miniature sabre, the engraved handle with chain and scroll quillons, the curved blade retaining much of its blueing and gilt foliate and flag decoration, 9in (23cm) long, the gilt metal scabbard with engraved leaf decoration and two suspension rings, total length 12.5in (32cm).
