A Meissen twin handled soup tureen and cover
late 19th century, blue crossed sword mark, of bun form with moulded Osier borders, painted in colours with spring flowers, the twin green branch handles with floral bocage to the terminals, the domed cover with cut lemon and peel finial, 8 1/2in. (21.5cm.) high; together with a pair of Meissen porcelain soup bowls,
19th century, decorated with Deutsche Blumen, gilt line rims, grey-blue crossed sword marks, 8 3/4in. (22.2cm.) diameter; and a pair of Meissen side plates, early 20th century, Marcolini style marks, similarly decorated, 7 3/4in. (19.8cm.) diameter. (5)
* Condition: - Tureen: Tiny factory chip to top of finial (beneath the glaze). Minor losses from petals on floral bocage. Very good overall.
- Bowls: Some gilt wear to rim, a little minor wear to decoration. No chips or cracks.
- Plates: VG with just very minor gilt wear.
