A late 18th century Bayeux marriage chest the hinged semi domed top with the initials AEP above MR, the base with two drawers, the whole with brown leather cover, and brass studwork decoration, with pierced brass escutheon, and cast brass handles, 92 cm. wide, 56 cm. high. E700-900 It is believed that this piece of furniture was once owned by a family from Sark, and was sold at auction in the West Country some years ago.
