A large blue and white painted Annamese dish
15th century, the centre with stylised chrysanthemum flower head and scrolling leaves, surrounded by painted leafy scrolls and flower heads, with unglazed rim, the underside with twelve painted panels of petaled lappets within rings, the foot painted with brown coloured wash, stabilised restored crack, 15.25in (38.5cm) diameter.
