A French Demi Chronometre the bevelled and hinged glass cover enclosing a 1.75 inch (4.5cm) white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, the finely engraved case with a portrait of Isaac Newton, the back plate engraved with calendar, company name and Aiguilles No. 689, with two key winding holes, together with a fitted and inlaid ebony watch case with the makers name on, also various keys and a hand written note.
