comprising; The Order of the Star of Nepal, 3rd class, with framed certificate reading ''From His Majesty the King of Nepal Tribhuvan Birbikram Jangbahadur Shahbahadur Sham Shere Jang - This is to authorise Major A.S. Mackay M.C., an officer of the 7th Gurkha Rifles in India under British Government, to wear this medal'', awarded to him for distinguished and meritorious service rendered towards the Nepal government by His Majesty the King of Nepal on the recommendation of His Highness Sir Chandra Sham Shere Jang Bahadur Rana, G.C.B., G.C.S., M.G., G.C.V.O., D.C.L., Honorary General British Army, Thong= = Lin = Pin = Ma = Ko = Kang = Wang = Syan, Prime Minister Marshal and His Excellency the Commander in Chief, General Bhim Sham Shere Jang Bahadur Rana, K.C.S.J., K.J.V.O., His Majesty the King of Nepalat the age of 14 years presents this Red Seal Sanad to Major A.S. Mackay M.C., and wishes him to enjoy the respect of this medal for a long time'', red seal with Nepalese writing to reverse; together with the GV Military Cross on purple and white ribbon; Kaiser Hind Indian General Service Medal, North West Frontier 1908 bar, on silver centred ribbon with yellow borders; the British War medal, uncrowned left-facing profile of King George V by Sir Bertram Mackennal, on ribbon with orange watered centre, stripes of white and black at each side and borders of royal blue; the Victory medal with double rainbow ribbon; the War Medal 1939-1945, on striped union jack coloured ribbon; the India Service Medal on ribbon representing the colours of the Order of the Star of India and the Order of the Indian Empire; the King George V''s Silver Jubilee Medal 1935, on light red ribbon with grey and white borders; and the 1937 King George VI Coronation Medal, on blue centred ribbon with red and white borders - all mounted on navy blue velvet back board, in mahogany case; together with the associated set of miniature medals.
