A carved ivory cockatoo walking cane
late 19th century, the well carved and stained ivory knop modelled as the head of a cockatoo, with amber glass eyes, above a plain silver collar marked 'M&T LTD', possibly Miller & Thompson, and engraved 'IAN', no hallmarks, on a slender polished bamboo shaft with brass ferrule, 32in. (81cm.) long.
