Description:

A 19th century Scottish longcase clock by James Boyd, Cupar,
the painted face with Roman numerals and subsidiary minutes and quarter marks, with additional seconds and date dials, pierced hands, the case with three finials to the arched top and a brass lined glazed door over a crossbanded trunk door, flanked by canted ¼ columns, raised on swept feet, 19 x 9in. (48.2 x 22.8cm.), 82½in. (209.5cm.) high without middle finial.

  • Condition: *Middle finial off, glazed door hanging loose with poor previous repair, not tested.
