The list of items accepted for auction in this category is almost endless.

We are delighted to accept fine books and maps; coins, currency & stamps; vintage toys; corkscrews, walking sticks and tools; Railwayana and vintage advertising signage; musical instruments; bronzes and statuary; treenwork; taxidermy; garden furniture & ornamentation; vintage cameras & telescopes; as well as Roman and other ancient antiquities.

Clocks can often form a stand-alone section of our catalogue sales. Longcase clocks by local Channel Island clockmakers such as Nicolas Blondel or Naftels of Guernsey are typically well sought after.  In June 2018 we sold a fine William and Mary walnut and marquetry eight-day longcase clock by John Clowes of London (c 1690) for £5,200. Carriage clocks, miniature clocks, 19th-century ormolu mantel clocks with garniture and mantel clocks of all styles and ages are accepted for sale.

In November 2021 we were pleased to offer for sale a rare 19th Century German carved and painted Noah’s Ark with over 150 wooden carved animals birds, insects and figures at an estimate of £1,000 - £1,500. The Lot achieved £3,800 at our auction.
