late 19th century, of plain oblong form, the hinged lid opening to reveal a fitted interior with central moulded glass sugar bowl flanked by a pair of hinged canisters, the exterior with two ring handles, set on four turned mahogany bun feet, 13in (33cm) wide, 8in (20cm high) 7in (18cm) deep.
