Martel Maides Auctions Strengthens It's Team

Martel Maides Auctions has strengthened its team with the appointment of Jason Yendell as Business Development Manager. The continued growth of the Company, both in and out of the Bailiwick, has called for additional focus on initiating best management practices and taking on the specific role of new Business Development. In creating this new role, Jason will take on the day to day responsibility of the running of the Channel Islands’ premier Auction Room. Martel Maides Auctions are looking to expand its Insurance Valuations and Probate Services as well as its core businesses of regular Vintage, Antique & Modern Sales. A number of more specialist Fine Art, Wine and Number Plate sales are also again planned for 2016, combined with a continued expansion of the company’s activities in Jersey, following up the hugely successful Country House sale at Claremont Court last year. Mr Yendell, who was educated at the Grammar School and Bournemouth University, has more than 20 years’ experience in the Finance Industry, including 12 years in London and the rest locally at HSBC Private Bank. ‘I have been able to gain invaluable experience of building and leading successful teams and to achieve challenging objectives. This is a fascinating opportunity and gives me a once in a lifetime chance to draw on both my organisational and creative skills to energise a very traditional business and to take it in new directions. I am very much looking forward to the challenge’.
