Sark interest - a scarce named pearlware Tyne Pottery lustre tankard
mid-19th century, the cylindrical tankard with scroll handle, one side with painted name 'Ann Bell 1843' within a garland of flowers, the other with 'The Friendly Society of Cordwainers' crest, the last two lines of the inscription stating 'Manufactur.. at this very Place, Tyne Pottery Newcastle', 5 3/4in. (14.5cm.) high, chips to inner rim.
